What’s new: The Life+ Savings Account is an exclusive benefit for Life+ Checking Accountholders! Life+ Savings accounts are an upgraded, “hands-free” savings option that give you the opportunity to earn money monthly on top of your savings with no minimum or maximum opening balance. When you enable Debit Card Round Up in online banking or the mobile app, every transaction you make from the debit card connected to this account is rounded up to the nearest dollar. The “round up” amount is added to other transaction round-ups that occur throughout the day. At the end of every day, your round-up total is moved over to your Life+ Savings Account. From here, it earns dividends as a percentage based on your total savings balance. The best part is, you can start small! In fact, you’ll be earning the highest percentage on your money right out the gate (4.10% APY is paid to balances of up to $1,000).
