Scam Safety
ARE YOU BEING SCAMMED?
Scammers pretending to be a bank's Fraud Department or law enforcement, like the FBI, want to steal your money and personal info. They can even replicate phone numbers to seem as if they're calling from SPC!
PREVENT YOURSELF FROM BECOMING A VICTIM OF SCAMS:
DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR FULL CARD OR ACCOUNT NUMBERS: SPC will never ask for your full card numbers. If you reach out to us, we’ll only ask for the last four digits.
NEVER GIVE OUT your online banking login or passwords, even if the caller seems to be from SPC.
IGNORE UNEXPECTED messages, emails, calls, or FaceTimes.
SPEAK UP: Scammers pretending to be law enforcement or a government agency will tell you not to tell anyone what’s going on. They just want you to send them cash.
If in doubt, hang up and call SPC at 843.332.4506.
