Owning a home has often been considered the American Dream — and for good reason! Homeownership is linked to:
A better quality of life — homeowners report greater self-esteem, more control over their lives, and stable home environments that help children thrive in school.
Stronger communities — homeowners stay in their communities 4x longer than renters and are 16% more likely to be involved in local schools.
Financial well-being — a homeowner's net worth is 36 times that of a renter, and mortgage interest may be tax-deductible.
