New SPC Mastercard Credit & Debit Cards Now Here
Upgrades are coming to your SPC Debit and Credit Cards!
With Mastercard®, you'll get access to contactless payments (yep, that means Tap to Pay!) and digital cards that are super handy when you're on the go. Plus, these Mastercard® cards will work just like your Visa® cards and will be accepted pretty much everywhere. Once we make the switch in April, you'll also be able to set up card alerts and manage everything right from your phone using the SPC Mobile App.
Here are a few key dates to keep in mind:
April 20, 2025: Last day to use your SPC Visa® debit card. Please activate their new Mastercard® now.
April 23, 2025: Last day to redeem their current Rewards points through uChoose Rewards.
April 27, 2025: Last day to use your SPC Visa® credit card. Please activate your new Mastercard® now. NOTE: Credit Cards are a bit different from the debit cards. While you can activate and begin using your Mastercard Debit Card right away, your new Mastercard Credit Card will start to work on April 28th.
To help make the transition to your new card smooth sailing, here are a few important things to keep in mind:
-
You should receive your new card within the first two weeks of April. Once you receive your new card, you should activate it by calling the number listed on the activation label on the front of the card. For Debit cards, when calling the number to activate the card, you will be prompted to set a PIN.
If you did not receive a new debit and/or credit card by April 21, 2025, contact the credit union at 843.332.4506 to speak with an associate.
