Thanks for Applying!

Here’s what happens next:

Thank you for applying for an Employee Hardship grant. Expect to hear from us within 1 week of your application submission.

Please keep in mind the following, which you have already signed as part of your application submission:

No employee is entitled to receive a grant, either by their employment, their history of contributions to the Employee Hardship Fund or because of any precedent inferred from a previous grant from the Employee Hardship Fund. Grants will not be made before an employee has demonstrated a critical/catastrophic immediate need. If your application is approved, you understand that you may not receive the full amount that you have requested, and you cannot receive more than the designated maximum amount in a 12-month period per type of grant.

You understand, further, that this application will be treated in a confidential manner by the SPC Cares Foundation Advisory Board; however, non-identifying statistical information will be reported to the credit union on a periodic basis. Employees are expected to provide truthful and accurate information. In its due diligence, if the Employee Hardship Fund discovers any information in this application to be materially untrue or fraudulent, you recognize that you may no longer expect this application to be treated confidentially and also recognize that information provided herein may be reported to the credit union. You understand that failure to comply with the guidelines of the Hardship Fund may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination, as determined by management.

Your signature on the application you submitted certifies that the information provided is true and complete, authorizes the Employee Hardship Fund to obtain and/or verify all information necessary to process this application, and releases the credit union and the Employee Hardship Fund from any liability associated with the rejection of or funding of this application. In addition, you hereby agreed to provide any requested documentation supporting the information provided.

The SPC Cares Foundation will make the payment on all approved grants up to the amount available.
