Buying an auto is a major decision that can be very stressful. But it doesn't have to be. SPC can help with all the car buying decisions from pre-approval to the added benefits of GAProtection, Loan Protection Insurance and extended warranty. Follow these steps to get you behind the wheel and in the driver's seat of your new vehicle.
1. Determine a Price:
Use loan calculator to find out how much car you can afford. Call the Loan Officers at SPC for NADA book value and pre-approval before you shop.
2. Research and Shop Around:
Use Consumer Reports Online and online searches to find the best vehicle to fit your needs. If it's a used car you are searching for, get peace of mind with a vehicle history report from Carfax. This service allows members to research the history of any vehicle using the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). These reports tell you whether a car or truck has odometer discrepancies, has been totaled and rebuilt, or damaged in a flood. SPC members can request a CarFax Vehicle History Report online. You will need the 17 digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) (found on the top of the driver's side dash) to request the report and a credit card.
3. The Added Benefits of an SPC Auto Loan:
Members' Choice Auto Care protects new or used vehicle purchases with an extended warranty program beyond the factory warranty. Various levels of coverage are available for both new and used vehicles.
GAProtection is designed to pay the difference between the insurance company's settlement and the loan or lease balance if the vehicle is stolen or accidentally totaled. Cost of protection can be included in your monthly payment.
The Real Free Credit Report
AnnualCreditReport.com is the official site to help consumers to obtain their free credit report. It was created by the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies, Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
Under the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act) consumers can request and obtain a free credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies. AnnualCreditReport.com provides consumers with the secure means to do so.
Free credit reports requested online at AnnualCreditReport.com are viewable immediately upon authentication of identity.
